Serano Gold was licensed in Oldenburg and was the vice-champion of the Rasteder Stallion Licensing in 2004. He qualified three times for the Bundeschampionat, reaching the final as a three-year-old, and was the Oldenburg Vice-Landeschampion. He competed successfully up to Prix St. Georges.
