Sandro Hit: The Influential Stallion of Modern Dressage
Sandro Hit, a stamp stallion from the Schockemöhle stud, has established himself as one of the most influential sires in modern dressage. Licensed in Oldenburg in 1995, he drew attention early on by becoming both World Champion and Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses in 1999. Sandro Hit’s breeding career is impressive, with over 196 licensed sons, 98 Grand Prix horses, and 11 Bundeschampions, making him significant worldwide. His most notable descendants include top stallions such as Sir Donnerhall, San Amour, Samba Hit, Stedinger, Serano Gold, St. Moritz, San Remo, and Sunny Boy. These stallions have also produced many successful horses, carrying Sandro Hit’s bloodline into the future. In sport, his descendants have demonstrated remarkable achievements, including Poetin, the World Champion of young dressage horses, and Showtime FRH, who won gold for Germany in team events at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Other successful horses like Jimmy Choo SEQ, Sanceo, Suppenkasper, and Silberaster OLD also carry his genes and have celebrated major successes on the international stage. His dam, the elite mare Loretta by Ramiro, has also produced two other outstanding stallions: Diamond Hit and Royal Hit.

Poetin was sold at the PSI auction for 2.5 million euros, making her the most expensive riding horse ever sold at that time.
Poetin II, the dam of the S*-successful Paola I by Lord Loxley. Paola I and her sister Paola II were awarded the title of Elite Show Winners in Brandenburg-Anhalt in 2009 and 2017.

The maternal grandfather Brentano II – Hanoverian licensing winner in 1985, reserve champion of his stallion performance test the following year, and Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2003.
